Wild Beginnings.

The idea that I have for this blog is similar to the currently defunct Whirled News blog I started before: some sort of political commentary to keep myself writing, and keep myself out of trouble by *not* doing so on Facebook.

I thought I might try to narrow things down a little, at times, by focusing on Portland politics. This may also give me a chance to do some more delving; a little research, a little interviewing, something to set this apart from every other political-pundit-wannabe blog.

I may expand beyond the world of Portland, obviously, since most of it, well... is beyond the borders of Portland. But I'll tie it in somehow.
